Rachel is an award winning Actor/Writer/Director who just completed the political odd couple

comedy Wake Up America! which she created with writing partner Valerie Dillman and co-

directed with Josh Covitt. Her other credits include Film, TV and Theater from around the world. 

As an actress, Rachel just completed an Off-Broadway run and World Tour of the award winning 

Re-Animator the Musical, directed by Stuart Gordon and co-starring George Wendt. Her many 

Film and TV Guest appearances include Tropic Thunder, The Giant Mechanical Man, a recurring 

role on Big Love, Reno 911, State of Georgia, a recent Movie of the Week for the Hallmark 

Channel, and the horror flick Big Game. She is a proud member of both Rogue Machine Theater 

and Pacific Resident Theater in Los Angeles and has performed, produced, written and directed 

dozens of plays winning Ovation, LADCC and LA Weekly Awards. Originally from Calgary, 

Alberta, Rachel received a grant from the Canada Arts Council to develop and direct an original 

musical, Blanche: The Bittersweet Life of a Wild Prairie Dame, at the Banff Centre and brought it 

to the 2011 New York Musical Theater Festival where the Huffington Post put it on the list of top 

20 shows for 2011 in NYC. Blanche has had subsequent runs in NY, DC and most recently in 

Calgary where Rachel was nominated for Best Director of a Musical by the Calgary Theatre 

Critics’ Awards. Her feature screenplay, Something Like Home, which takes place in her native 

Calgary, will go in to production later this year. Rachel graduated with honors from the UCLA 

School of Theater, Film and Television and lives in Los Angeles with her husband and baby boy.
